Are there any songs that you learned as a kid that still stick with you? I have so many old songs in my head that pop up at funny times. Some are serious, some educational, some just plain silly! Jeremy Plays Guitar: Use Your Words is filled with songs that will stick with your kids.
We love music. I especially love music that helps my children learn. I was super-excited when I found Jeremy Plays Guitar! I loved exploring their website - they offer CDs and books, they also have shows! I would love to see Jeremy Plays Guitar with my boys. One of my favorite features on their site is the song of the month - each month they select a story about someone's children (and everyone is invited to submit stories about their children) and write a song for someone's story. How fun is that??
I've played Use Your Words several times for my boys and the boy I babysit, they LOVE the music. I love the lyrics. I love that they're learning manners and that it's okay to make mistakes, even if they don't totally get what they're hearing right now, the words are soaking into their little minds.
